Teto is an experimental winemaking project by husband & wife duo, Tom & Tenille.

After years of saying “we should make wine together,” 2024 was the year we made it happen. The name started off as a bit of joke after we joined the first two letters of each of our names together. But as it settled it ended up sticking. After all, Teto is an extension of us as a couple. Approachable, fun, unpretentious and always up for a good time.

Our focus is on using alternative varieties with minimal intervention. We’re about creating drops for you to enjoy with whoever (and however) you like.

Winemaker, Tom Dunstan

Tom has over 12 years experience in wine. He has worked numerous vintages throughout NSW and VIC, from Orange to Rutherglen to Mudgee - where he now calls home. One of the region’s rising stars, his wines have won an accolade of awards over the years. While he now heads up the winemaking at Pieter van Gent Winery, Teto provides him with the avenue to experiment and trial new ideas.
